The closure of Indie 103.1, a LA indie radio station, is a terrible bummer.   They featured some incredible music and radio personalities that were geared toward new and breaking music both indie and electronic.  When you listened to this station, you felt connected to the vibrant LA music scene.  They will be going to a internet radio station format at this time.  I hope they make a move to XM / Sirius so they can continue to provide the best radio station I have ever heard.

Raku, a Las Vegas Japanses restaurant,  specializes in Yakitori and gourmet street food you would find in alot of restaurants in my travels  in Tokyo and Osaka.  The venue is small, only seating 30, and hard to find so make sure you mapquest it.  You will not find California Rolls or anything you would traditionally expect from an Americanized Japanese restaurant, but a unique experience that is worth the money and time it takes to make the reservation.
