Say What?! May 30th Sex Party Video
Often imitated but never duplicated Say What?! is the last saturday of the month at Beauty Bar. It was packed all night with the crowd going crazy during the Culture Prophets video shoot inside. They came all the way out from South Carolina to Las Vegas Say What?! just to show the world how the Vegas scene parties. Party Gals Sex Toy Parties was there vending all their sex toys and giving demonstrations while porn played in the background. We had some upgrade in the lighting with tri colored lasers and more LED lights than you have ever seen at any of our prior shows.
Outside, The Study Band got naked resulting in mayhem from all the women in the audience. Up next with the Cracker Jack surprise in the box; Little Red Radio, who I plan on bringing back real soon because they drove the crowd wild. Lips Like Morphine, who have not played Beauty Bar in a very long time came back just to play Say What?! to kill it. Electric Valentine, who previously played our LA party at the airliner got the whole backyard dancing. Vegas Banger, Roccanova, & Grimehaus gave you quality bangers for your all night dance. Make sure you go over to Chris’ profile and comment him for taking the pictures last night. Next month is Say What?! Ice Kream, free frozen treats June 27th.

Bionic Commando Theme (Surkin Remix) from Matt Brown on Vimeo.
Bionic Commando has commissioned Surkin to create this great remix which will hopefully be a new trend for video games to do. When the new Tr2n video game comes out with the movie, the whole video game will have music by Daft Punk.

DJ Cepi, from San Diego, has a new remix for us. I do think he should follow up on my suggestion of getting a designer to work on some of his graphics if he wants do develop a foundation of success. Think about the iconic imagery of Fake Blood, Designer Drugs, and numerous other DJ / producers. Lots of DJs are also graphic designers like Franki Chan, Hyphycrunk, and Bullimatron; because they know the importance of image. Circa 1981 is the best young graphic designer out there that has done alot of our designs so please check him out.

2 commentsHere We Go Magic – Fangela : Flaming Lips Love Child
The Flaming Lips had sex with the Animal Collective and gave birth to the rebellious child of Here We Go Magic. If you don’t feel mesmerized and high after listening to this; than the Lord of the Rings was really a tale about Frodo and Sam’s love affair. Please remix this song or I will implode.

No commentsOrchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark “Enola Gay” Video : Synth Pop 80s
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) is 1980’s synth pop UK band that should not be forgotten but be rediscovered by the new wave generation of italo, dreamwave, synth pop fans. They created this song Enola Gay as a protest against nuclear genocide we committed against the Japanese in WW II. The Faint did a cover of this song on their 2001 Messages Tribute album. With some remixing, this track could experience a fresh rebirth on today’s music blogsphere.

2 commentsElectric Valentine Plays Say What?! Sex Party May 30th
Electric Valentine, who performed at the last Say What?! vs Tilt (LA) show in Fall 2008 at the Airliner is coming to Vegas. They were previously on a national tour with Jeffree Star. All of their songs are non stop dance music and help explemify sexxiness. You should expect a great show from these guys.
1 commentGogol Bordello Gipsy Part Of Town (IAMXL Remix)
IAMXLdid this remix of Gogol Bordello, who frequently have played Las Vegas with their gypsy punk. They are a fantastic live band but some of their songs can be repetitious; so its great to hear one of their songs reinvented.
