I’m not saying that I’ve always been an angel, but I’ve always been one to listen to my parents. So… I was pleasantly surprised to find a friend request from MOM AND DAD in the Grimehaus Myspace account.

Not surprisingly, this kid looks nothing like my parents and he is definitely producing way hotter tracks…

A few quick facts about my new not-so-secret weapon:

• He characterizes his signature sound as “chromatically scaled house music”
• He is obsessed with the entire UK scene…most notably Sir Joshua Harvey.
• He is 1/4 of Ultra Tiger (a dj collective also consisting of Rockland, Manny Loya, and Jassson)
• He describes the scene in his hometown of Granada Hills, CA as, “Ghetto house parties with 2-300 people crammed into a tiny backyard sinning their lives away. Fucking amazing!”

He was kind enough to share some crazy singles for us to post… and I’m not gonna lie, when I dropped that Rick Ross remix the other night at MojoKrush I saw one guy pass out on the dancefloor because the flavor was too ill!

MOM AND DAD is still pretty new to the scene but that’s exactly why we’re on his jock! As much as I want to keep him a secret… I can’t bring myself to do it. Indiekrush is here to share the love!
