Elephant Interview : LA Finger F**Kd
Elephant, a new Queercore electro hip hop duo out of LA, is shocking it’s audiences with their lyrics and performance art shows which feature dancers. They have taken Mickey Avalon’s Hollywood Babalon anything goes rap stories to another level by finger f**King your ear ass.
1. How did Elephant come about?
- Even though we’re twin brothers, we don’t have as much in common as people think. We do, however, share a love for music, trannies, and glory holes. We always knew we’d end up doing this; it was just a matter of when.
2. What is is your instrument set up on stage?
- I (Coleman) like to control the music and beats with a mic in hand, while Jackson always takes the lead mic.
3. What do you have planned in the future?
- Finishing up our new LP entitled “Don’t Sit There. It’s Wet” while also shooting a new video at a couples venues in Los Angeles. Then, playing as many live dates as possible.
4. Your material is more “Out” indie electro? What has been the audience reception so far?
- People have been great so far, but we’re dying to know the thrill of having an entire audience at some outdoor festival in Texas pelt us with bottles while screaming hate; that’s when you really know you have the edge you want.

Thanks! I’d heard of these two twin brothers last time I was in LA, and that they were supposed to be pretty wild-and a little drugged out-and impressive but I never remembered to look em up! Catchy, dirty craziness!
Hope to catch them next time I make it over to Hollywood…peace
