Afghan Raiders Electronic Press Kit Video
Afghan Raiders “Afraid” EPK Promo Video from Afghan Raiders on Vimeo.
Afghan Raiders created this electronic press kit video to help promote themselves to promoters and talent buyers so they understand what they are about. This video does not break any grounds, but communicates the message that this band is high energy and all about audience interaction. From a music industry standpoint, I would have integrated the upcoming opening for MUSE Hard Rock show footage to create a “Holy Shit” reaction in talent buyers – probably something they will add into this video latter. It is still a long road ahead, but they are on their way. Go Dim Mak or Iheartcomix friends.

Afghan Raiders, Las Vegas electro band and producers, have sent this interesting remix over that is a total storming of this song with no prisoners taken.

The Afghan Raiders sent this remix of one of my favorite bands Phoenix and their song 1901. I have included the video above so you can see how different the remix is. I did see the video they did on David Letterman and they probably should consider never playing in a well lit room again, because they belong in a dark club with lots of really cool LED projections. I do think the song is perfect as it is, but the highest form of flatery is for a fan to remix your song.

The Afghan Raiders have sent over some high quality mp3s for your listening pleasure and for our readers who also DJ. If you want to hold onto the dice and not crap out, you must go see them when they bring a slice of Las Vegas to your city during their west coast tour. It was also exciting that they used Casey Weldon to do their album art because we are big fans.
