Justin Bieber was released from the hospital yesterday after being viciously attacked by hundreds of cougars. The cougars started the attack by sending their daughters out to catch him. A representative from the hospital where he was treated said he suffered severe bruising on his face from his cheeks being pinched and that they didn’t know until all the lipstick was removed. He will make a full recovery but never wants to be called cute by women over 30 ever again. Similar cases have been reported by lesbians with the Bieber hairstyle.

Say What?! Santa’s Hangover was packed with locals as usual with Indie Krush djs laying down the soundscapes of the underground dance music you will not hear on the strip. We had free Toxic Avenger cds courtesy of Iheartcomix & Scion, free Santa hats, & off course our famous Prize Box. Some people are bringing their own props from home just for the photo booth, which is pretty rad. You can also find your photos up on Vegas Hot Spots & a video to you shortly from Stripped Down TV & Indie Krush TV -and thank Noel Calizo for the night’s photography. The perfect party moment is when you live forever in the ecstasy of transcendence giving up all worries, wants, & needs for a celebratory revelry – hope you all had fun and join us again for Say What?! Bling January 23rd. Show us some love by leaving comments.4 comments
With the crescendo leading up to Christmas and New Years, it wouldn’t be anything less than proper to end it all on a good note. This edition of Weekend Mixdown features a variety of upbeat tunes that have gotten lots of love within it’s respected music circles.
Tonight@ 10PM-2AM DJ Know Well and Bass & Treble will be DJing at Kan Pai Sushi on W. Sahara & Cimarron. Come enjoy the full bar, 30% off menu and 1st drink is free!
This week we’ll be debuting a weekly post simply dedicated to giving our viewers more music. An eclectic mix from past, present and the future. From your bedroom to the dance-floor, a soundtrack for your whole weekend regardless of your musical preferences. With all the harder electronic sub-genres being popular at the moment, it’s just as important to squeeze in some good organic downtempo tunes for a nice dynamic. This week’s compilation features some italo boogie, indie folk, french house, dubstep, electro, hip-hop and a B.Rich remix I recently whipped up under a new moniker dubbed, Jacuzzi Hi-Dive. Enjoy!

Jessica Chavez, a new Las Vegas electro artist, will be at Say What?! this Saturday with Noel from Indie Krush on drums. Her live show at Cherry a few weeks back was awesome and you can expect the same at Beauty Bar. She should get some of our great local DJ / producers to remix some of her songs to get herself out there – hustle it scene steal it.

I fucking love Designer Drugs. Seriously. And their remix of Flou, which btw, I CANNOT stop listening to, is just another reason why I love them. If you haven’t heard them, whoa. Where have you been? They just get it right. Every time.

So, I know we gave you a heads up about our charity event last Thursday (May 8th) at the Beatles Revolution Lounge at the Mirage Hotel & Casino.
We wanted to thank all of you guys for coming out and supporting us. It was a great success and we managed to raise both funding and awareness for the Caring 4 Kids Foundation.
The Red Paintings (Australia) were bizzare and entertaining with their performance art meets emo rocker presentation. Big Friendly Corporation managed to add their own flavor to the night just before the Clydesdale did their completely enamouring rockabilly thing.
After the bands it was up to Grimehaus and Mike Attack to get the floor moving…
All in all it was a great success… take a look at some pics from the night!!!

So… our girl M.I.A. was at Coachella on April 26th. Here is some audience footage of her performance of “Hussel” and “Paper Planes.”
And while I’m thinking of it…
I can’t help but admit that I was overcome with an inexplicable emotion, when I found my beloved M.I.A. in a brightly colored two-page spread for non-other than Marc f’n Jacobs. Actually, I guess what I was feeling was a sense of genuine satisfaction… it made me smile.
M.I.A. is creative, talented, sexy, has one the sickest, most unique sounds I’ve ever heard and is, for the most part, still fairly underground. The styling of the photos is completely fresh. She looks chic, and completely maintains her personal style.
I know… I know, you already have these remixes of “Paper Planes”, right?

Electro Flashback is a little something I’ll be doing to take things back. I’ll be featuring older sick electro songs that some of you might remember or might be enjoying for the first time!
In honor of Madonna’s new cd being released, I have uploaded two of the baddest electro remixes by Mount Sims of “Nobody Knows Me” from her American Life album. Enjoy!
