Gourmet NFN*(Not For Nuth’n)
Gourmet Shoes and Apparel…
It’s been a minute since I hit you up some new Kicks FLAVA.
Gourmet- A relatively new sneaker company, that also makes some sportswear as well-although you’d be hard pressed finding any… Designers behind this project are: Jon Buscemi, Greg Lucci, and Greg Johnsen- all having some experience/knowledge of the game.
Gourmet takes inspiration from the Jordan shoes, and executes them in canvas (hope to see leather joints soon). Design is simple, the soles are on some keds steez, making a great choice to add flavor to any wardrobe. Here’s a peep at their Summer 08 collection- catch ‘em at Undefeated here in Vegas!

Shades are a must; to keep your celebrity status, you must keep your shades on you at all times… but I’m not talking about those cheezy wrap glasses, but some really dope shit…
With that being said, you have got to check out Dita, from Los Angeles , CA. Dita was co-founded by Jeff Solorio and John Juniper. Dita has been a driving force in the eyewear game since 1996 and have kept the hits coming… their designs consistently grow more appealing than the season before.
Inspired by trends from the 50’s to the 80’s…utilizing the finest materials and craftsmanship… Dita’s design focus is on the actual eyewear piece itself and not on the labels, and logos emblazoned on the side. This allows the wearer to actually use the glasses to compliment his/her wardrobe… not take it over with gaudy design.
***Dita x Cazal*** Collabo
Also, check out the collaboration between Cazal, arguably, the most influential designer in the game, and Dita the latest and greatest in American eyewear… The Cazal 902 was re-released 02/22/2008 through Dita in four colorways. It was the original 902 Cazal with a touch of Dita flavor added (mostly the colorways, packaging, and distribution being handled by Dita). These things are absolutely SICK!
Don’t ask me how, but these were limited to 500 pairs worldwide since the release, and they are still available directly through thier website(link Below)… So, good hunting my friends!!! Dita is not limited to Sunglasses either, they offer a variety of eyewear for prescription use as well, check out the Dita site for more styles … Also, Keep your eyes peeled for more retro action/cazal steez from DITA LEGENDS- online store coming soon!

3 commentsJC/DC
Here’s a designer that our own Bobbi Le Pin turned me on to. You guys need to get up on the man and his design house known as JC/DC.
Acting as both designer and owner is Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. He is the Marquis of Castelbajac, a French nobleman, originating from Casablanca, Morocco. JC’s design house has been all the rage for quite some time now in Paris, France where JC/DC is based.
JC’s designs are always fun, cutting edge, and cannot be denied, not mention his fashion shows (see clips above). His shows are always creative and feature fresh music that is just as eclectic as his collections. His designs have made him an International star, and include a jacket made of teddy bears donned by Madonna, and also had his clothes featured in the film Prêt-à-Porter with Helena Christensen.
JC’s latest collection- Fall 2008 ready to wear includes crazy colors- think Rubics cube, fitted hats- a la New Era, and all types of ill silhouettes, not to mention the shoes, and the models rocking that face paint- straight hotness! This collection almost looks like a colabo with the ALIFE crew, with the monster faces and popping designs… so check out the videos above and the galleries below for a peek at his fall 2008 collection don’t forget to check out the sites too.

1 commentPrada Nappa Stripes Hobo
On the level ladies, there are some fresh bags out right now, from Prada. I mean, check out the colorways on these things… numerous combinations to choose from and I would rock every single one.
Deep teal-purple-orange… f’n delicious. Fuscia-violet-pink… why would Prada do this to me? It’s cruel. Then they have the nerve to drop navy-red-violet-mustard?!? Why, why, why!?! I could wear these bags with every single item in my wardrobe. These retail for $1675.
I am starting a movement. We must stand up to Prada and their unfair pricing, Here’s what we’re gonna do guys. Spread the word and stand up to “the man” by making a donation via paypal. Once I raise enough money to cover airfare, hotel, and incidentals… I’m flying to NYC, going straight to Prada’s flagship and buying all of them. That’ll show ‘em.

Every city has its spots… until the last few years; Las Vegas had very few spots to pick up that underground gear we all like so much.
